Our mission is to design leather accessories that make your life easy and at the same time endlessly stylish. Our versatile carryalls are perhaps best described as beauties with brains. They match your look and think of everything on your to-do list. Functional yet fabulous. Beautiful but at least as practical. After all, why should you choose when you can go out with both of them?

Our story starts in 2010 when female entrepreneur Floor van de Water introduced the now-iconic Smart Little Bag (SLB) under the name of LouLou. This multifunctional wallet with mirror and smartphone compartment grew into a great success in no time. Almost 10 years later, the SLB is still sparkling unabatedly and the collection has been considerably expanded with many different bags, purses, and accessories. Functionality has become our signature and we would like to emphasize that more. That is why we renamed LouLou Essentiels at LouLou in September 2018. But despite this name change, we still work with the same principles, the same team spirit, and the same big smile. You can now find LouLou Essentiels at over 500 points of sale in Europe and in our own online shop.

Every LouLou has been designed with a great deal of creativity and with a deep passion. It’s the details that matter. And that is clearly reflected in our designs. We spend a lot of time sourcing beautiful materials, we provide refined finishes and we can proudly say that every LouLou copy is made by hand in an honest way in our workshop, which is the first in the world to run entirely on solar energy. At the same time, we take into account wearing comfort and never lose sight of ‚daily convenience‘. Mirrors, plenty of storage space and other fine features ensure a lot of functionality on the go. With all the extra attention paid to each individual LouLou design, we hope that you will enjoy using it for a long time to come.

The all-female team at LouLou Essentiels consists of energetic women who combine their creative powers to launch 4 different collections each year. The whole is a mix of timeless designs and striking fashion items. We love trends, but always give them a typical LouLou twist. Inspiration is simply to be found in everything that has a wow-factor as far as we are concerned. From a magical myth to an impressive place and from a special work of art to a strong personality. Every season, a different story is told that unravels within the collection in a matching blend of colors, fabrics, and materials.
